A PROUD family firm, established in 2014

Zebra Electrical, a PROUD family firm, established in 2014, initially as Hughes Electrical Contractors Ltd, with a focus on building relationships, and keeping our promises, we quickly grew, and it was soon time to expand our services from commercial clients to both Commercial and Residential.

That’s when we decided it was time to make our mark! So Zebra Electrical was born, and we are proud to have grown to one of the leading electrical contractors in the area known for our superb customer service, our commitment to our customers, and the quality of our residential property and commercial work.

And whilst we may have grown, and we may have changed our name, what remains with us are our 5 core values. Reliability, Communication, Workmanship, Teamwork and Environment.

We have exciting times ahead of us, as we work more than ever on renewable energy, our commitment to the environment, our expertise in electrical vehicle charge points and now our new services in alternative heat source technologies, mean that Zebra Electrical are perfectly placed to help you, whether as a business owner or a homeowner, project manager or commercial contractor, we are keen to work with you.

Well my experience of zebra electrical demonstrated this perfectly.

On enquiry I received a prompt reply and I then booked a home survey appointment so that Zebra Electrical could recommend the best solution for a car charger at my home.

A price for my new charger install was professionally presented and received shortly afterwards.

On booking the install of my charger  I received a date for installation.

On Installation day the zebra electricians arrived on time and my install was completed.

That evening I charged my car at home ready for my next journey.

I would recommend Zebra Electrical to all my friends and family as these Zebras have earned their stripes!

  Contacted Zebra Electrical as we needed some security lights sorting out (1 of our old ones broke and the other was ineffective). Zebra turned up when they said they would and when the wife decided she wanted a bigger light than the one we originally agreed on there was no issue. The young man went away and was back within half an hour with the bigger light! We now feel safe again and can see the dog in the garden at night (which is important as we never know what he is up to). Thank you Jacob and the team!

  "Wow! What an amazing Company"
I telephoned for help and had a qualified electrician to my door 1 hour later. For me, this is unheard of in any trade. The electrician was highly skilled, swift to problem solve and create solutions and he was very friendly and polite.
He went the extra mile for me after the Currys Installation Team let me down drastically and not only did he update the wiring for my cooker, he installed my new cooker and carried my old one from the middle floor to the ground floor.
Zebra is an Electrical 'WOW' wizard of a company and I would highly recommend them to ANYONE and EVERYONE for their professionalism, timeliness and expertise.
Thank you Zebra, you saved the day for me and I will definitely be using you and only you in the future!
